Often problems can be dealt with by telephone. The receptionist may take your telephone number and ask an appropriately qualified person to ring you back. For conditions such as backache, colds, layrngitis, hay fever, diarrhoea / gastroenteritis, cystitis, thrush, period pains, constipation, threadworms, accidents / trauma it may be considered appropriate to offer you a telephone consultation. Should the health professional subsequently feel it necessary for you to be seen at the surgery an appointment will be offered to you.
Phonelines are closed between 1.00pm - 2.00pm daily - a dedicated number is provided for medical emergencies only.
